Mr. Sayeed Ahmad Ansari, Director- Projects, Abdur Razzaque Ansari Memorial Weavers’ Hospital (Apollo Hospitals Group), Managing Director, SAC hospital Management and consultancy services Pvt ltd and Executive Director of Curie- Abdur Razzaque Ansari Cancer Institute Ranchi is one of the first professionals in healthcare in the state of Jharkhand. A post graduate in Political Science, Mr. Ansari had worked in Banking Industry for long 24 years and thereafter he started fulfilling the vision of his late father to have a super specialty hospital in Jharkhand. He has been associated with the hospital from concept to its commissioning, initially for a 70 bedded hospital and now 250 bedded super specialty hospital equipped with high end technology.
As a health care leader in the state of Jharkhand Mr. Ansari has acquired knowledge of creating excellence in health care from renowned institutions such as IIM- Ahmedabad, Kaiser Permanente Sanfransico, and Studer Group of USA. Mr. Ansari has attended many national and international health care conferences and also delivered lecture on HIV/AIDS at ILO- Geneva and was recently felicitated at the House of Lords, UK for his contribution to rural health in India. Maintaining the family tradition, Mr.Ansari is also involved in the socio- economic development of the area and is doing yeomen service in fighting the scourge of cancer disease in the state. He has established a institute matching with any renowned institute of the country for the treatment of the cancer patients with latest equipment. The institute was inaugurated by His Excellency the Vice President of India.
A man of strong will power and drive, having managerial competence, quality of tackling difficult situations, he always stood for the institutional development and never gave importance to his personal gain. Mr. Ansari has taken up the most ambitious programme for the rural women and child welfare and taken the challenging task to take care of the health of rural women and their child including managing delivery at hospital and not at their mud floors as common in rural village.
Mr. Ansari has an ambitious and striving mission of developing MEDIVILLAGE in the locality from a small center of primary health care facilities to the super specialty hospitals of all discipline besides the facilities of Wellness center to have Yoga, Pranic healing and Ayurveda therapies under one Village concept.
Mr. Ansari has authored a book named ‘HEALTH CARE THROUGH PASSION’ for the health care professional highlighting the practical aspect of health care management and how to resolve the newest and day to day challenges for the health care professionals. This book is widely acclaimed by professionals.
